Rabbi Greenman, who was a close student of Rav Noach Weinberg, zt’l, has decades of experience as a builder and fundraiser. We’re honored and blessed to have him use his talents to strengthen Ohr Yisroel in both an educational and fundraising capacity.

Rabbi Greenman studied political science and economics at Brandeis University and Hebrew University in Jerusalem and received his rabbinic ordination from Aish HaTorah. He founded Aish HaTorah New York and served as the executive director for 25 years. During his years with Aish, Rabbi Greenman launched a host of impactful Jewish outreach and educational programs, including Discovery Seminars, Hasbara Fellowships, Speed Dating, Honestreporting.com, Bring Israel Home, Inspired, Aish on Campus, and many others.

For the past five years he served as the strategic adviser to Olami, the largest non-Chasidic Jewish outreach organization in the world, operating in 30 countries across the globe. He was fortunate to start and oversee multiple projects at Olami as well. He is an avid golfer who enjoys the game most when he’s discussing the relevance of Judaism and the good works that he’s involved in. Rabbi Greenman lives in Passaic with his wife, Leah, and their children. Their home is always open to students and guests.
