The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, recently appointed by the US Department of Commerce as a partner in World Trade Week, will be representing trade on behalf of the US government at an event the Orthodox Jewish Chamber will be hosting in New York City as part of World Trade Week.
A celebration of both domestic and transnational economic partnerships, the event attracts countries from across the globe, including Israel, Turkey, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Canada, and more. Foreign dignitaries, including consuls general and trade ministers, will be among the evening’s high-profile guests.
The May 18th event will be hosted this year in Manhattan’s magnificent Surrogate’s Courthouse, a designated landmark. The program for the evening includes award ceremonies and a panel of leading US government personnel and organizations, including Carmela Mammas, director at U.S. Commercial Service, Hilary Sadler, former VP of Global Business Development at Export-Import Bank of the United States, and Dilip Chauhan, deputy commissioner for Trade Investment and Innovation at New York City’s Department of International Affairs. A reception (kosher food will be available) will close out the event.

The Orthodox Jewish Chamber is hosting the event in conjunction with its partners, the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, the New York Mayor’s Office for International Trade, and – a special partner this year – the Korean Chamber of Commerce, which will formally cement partnership agreements with the Orthodox Jewish and Greater New York Chambers as part of the event’s ceremonies.
