The Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School opened in the fall of 1997 with its first freshman class. Originally called KYHS, the high school formed its first basketball team in the 1999-2000 season. The alumni that were on that original KYHS team came back to the building last Saturday night to take on the current RKYHS varsity basketball team. It was Cobra vs. Cobra as the alumni team was cheered on by their former faculty, fellow alumni and alumni parents, with an evening of nostalgia and basketball.
