Parents of Hostages Omer Neutra and Edan Alexander Speak at Central Park March

Commemorating Omer’s birthday.

At the October 13 march for the release of the hostages in Central Park, the parents of hostage Omer Neutra, who was born in Manhattan and raised in Long Island, and of hostage Edan Alexander, who was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in Tenafly, addressed the large crowd.

Omer’s parents, Ronen and Orna Neutra, commemorated their son’s second birthday in captivity, while Edan’s mother, Yael Alexander, accompanied by her husband, Adi Alexander, spoke of how the two soldiers are young Americans who were full of life, and now they have been held captive for 373 days.

The march, estimated by organizers to have 1,000 people in attendance on this particular Sunday, is held weekly. New Yorkers will not stop fighting to bring these Americans, and all of the hostages, home.
