Parshat Noach Comes Alive At JKHA Early Childhood

JKHA brought Torah to life for its students as they studied Parshat Noach. Early childhood and first grade greeted a petting zoo as the school’s youngest students learned about the animals that Noach had on the teiva. Pre-k had a mabul party at which they dressed for the weather, sang songs and played learning games. Some of the hands-on educational activities included seeing a rainbow by looking through colored water bottles and experimenting with items to see whether or not they would float or sink. They also played a fun game trying to figure out which child was hiding behind the umbrella. Lastly, they enjoyed identifying and eating pairs of animal cookies.

Kindergarten students made a teiva out of blocks and Nursery 3 students also conducted experiments to see what items would sink or float. All of early childhood and lower school enjoyed a week of many colors as students dressed up in a different color of the rainbow each day of the week.
