Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

We have lamented the fact that we no longer make Pesach. Most people think we are slightly crazy for missing the preparations for when our children and grandchildren would arrive in Montreal. Three meals a day for eight days was quite an undertaking. This year we had a great chag with our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren both in Rochester and Bergenfield. Our amount of energy and preparation was nebulous.

We have finally found a rainbow at the end of our new life of Pesach preparation. It took us about five minutes to restore our kitchen to normal. There was little to do; we smiled and felt content. No poutine from Pizza Pita, no croissant from Kosher Quality, just an enormous pleasure looking back on the past week.

Back to our normal musings next week. Regards to all.
