It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Rebbetzin Elaine Stolper, z”l on July 8, a little over a month after the petirah of her husband, Rabbi Pinchas Stopler, zt”l, founder and first full-time national director of NCSY.

Rebbetzin Stopler, along with her husband, devoted her life to caring for tens of thousands of Jewish teens through her work with NCSY by deeply believing in the infinite value of every single teen and opening her home to everyone.

Rebbetzin Stolper was the mother of Rebbetzin Michal Cohen, Rabbi Akiva Stolper and Malki Kaweblum, z”l. Rebbetzin Cohen and Rabbi Stolper are sitting shiva in Chicago and New York, respectively.
