Trees of Love, a program sponsored by the Teaneck Shade Tree Advisory Board, offers the opportunity to plant a native tree in a Teaneck park to memorialize a loved one or to commemorate an important event such as a birth, wedding or bar or bat mitzvah. The cost of $350 includes the tree, water bag and granite plaque. Everything but the plaque is tax deductible.
