Dear Shayna,

My problem is that in my science class, we all planted seeds as an experiment. But I’m terrible at gardening! Either I over-water my plant or I under-water it! It is SUPER embarrassing that my plant is the only one that doesn’t grow, when all the other plants are so tall! Do you have any advice for me?

Love,

Embarrassed Elana

Dear Embarrassed Elana,

I personally have the same problem, but don’t laugh at me. Maybe we both should take a course on how to grow plants. Or you can buy a fully grown plant, and plant it in your backyard. You can enjoy it regardless of how it came to be and no one will have to know. However, if you’re still embarrassed, you can always switch schools where they don’t require planting.

Best of luck,

Shayna B.
