Play Baseball With Team Israel

Calling All Jewish High School baseball players; workout for Team Israel on August 27 and 28.

August 9, Purchase, NY: Israel Baseball is looking for the next generation of ballplayers that could be eligible to play for the National Team down the road.

On the heels of Team Israel’s success in the 2020 Olympics and 2023 World Baseball Classic, a new program was created to help the senior team identify and evaluate players for future opportunities.

Israel Baseball Academy is a two-day program geared towards high school players with the intent of identifying and evaluating new talent. On day 1, all participants will take individual defensive and mobility testing. On day 2, they will play in a live game.

Olympic Head Coach, Eric Holtz, will oversee the workout and provide objective and actionable feedback.

Jon Moscot, a pitcher on the 2024 Olympic Team, said, “This is an incredible opportunity for Jewish ballplayers because it can provide a pathway to play at the highest level both here in the United States and on the International stage. Players also will have the unique opportunity to be coached and deal one-on-one with former professional players, Olympic athletes and be identified by the decision makers in the organization. This is a must for all young Jewish/Israeli athletes.”
