Playa Bowls, the national acai bowl/smoothie shop chain, has announced its Franklin Lakes location is now kosher certified by National Kosher Supervision under Rabbi Aaron Mehlman.

Playa Bowls has a completely customizable menu of made to order superfruit bowls, smoothies, juices and oatmeal bowls. It should be noted that any item containing Nutella ingredients are dairy, while all else are pareve—fresh sliced strawberries and goji berries are not under supervision.

Franklin Lakes is the second North Jersey Playa Bowls location to become kosher, with Englewood receiving certification this past June. The store is open each day from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. and is located at 833 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. www.playabowls.com
