My daughter Amanda is currently suffering from end-stage chronic kidney failure and is in need of a kidney transplant. It has been proven that patients do better with a kidney transplant than staying on dialysis. A transplant is the only long-term solution to keep my daughter alive, preferably from a living donor. We are looking for a living donor with blood type O or A.

Amanda’s warmth and compassion for her family and friends is incredible. She is the first person to raise her hand when someone is in need. She is a wonderful aunt to her 5-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew. Amanda’s health struggles have often presented her with difficult challenges, but she chooses to take a positive view of her future. It is truly impressive to see how she keeps a smile on her face despite the hurdles she has already overcome, and those that still lie ahead. She is truly an amazing example to others to remain optimistic no matter where life takes you.
