Pretzel Challah Donations Designated for First Responders and Those in Need

Dana and Yoni Siletski, originators of Yoni’s Pretzel Challah, recently donated 100 of their specialty challot to the local community in an expression of gratitude to the first responders and nurses who are helping residents during the COVID-19 crisis. The challot were designated for these heroes free of charge at the check-out lanes of four local food establishments: Ma’adan, Cedar Market, Grand and Essex and Glatt Express. An additional donation is forthcoming, so the Siletskis urge devoted healthcare workers to be on the lookout for the challot in the coming weeks. The Siletskis are also generously giving pretzel challot to local residents who have lost their jobs. They urge anyone in the Teaneck/Bergenfield area who is in need to anonymously text them at (201)674-0396 with an address and challot will be delivered on Friday afternoon. Hopefully, when the pandemic comes to a halt, the Siletskis will continue delivering their tasty challot to food pantries around the community as they have done since their establishment in 2015.
