Nimrod Cohen (Nimrod ben Vicki), 20, lives in Rehovot with his parents, Yehuda and Vicki, his twin sister, Romi, and his older brother, Yotam. Nimrod was kidnapped on October 7, 2023 from Nahal Oz and taken to Gaza by Hamas terrorists. He appeared in a Hamas video later that day.

Nimrod enlisted in the IDF in November 2022. His brother Yotam said, “”Nimrod is a very shy boy, and he’s a very simple man. Before October 7, his main concerns were playing Fortnite with his friends, streaming it on Discord and going to parties. He was like every other regular 19-year-old guy.”

“I don’t sleep at night,” said Vicki. “I veer between moments of hope and despair.” Of her return to work, she said, “I see people, I speak to them, and that helps.”
