The couple ran to escape the missile attack, and joined 30 people in a bomb shelter intended for 10. Hamas terrorists threw grenades into the shelter and Eynav was killed, among many others. Almog Levy, Or and Eynav’s son who celebrated his third birthday without his parents, was at first living with his grandparents, but according to a recent interview with the Jerusalem Post, Michael Levy, Or’s oldest brother, reported that “my other brother is caring for him now, but it’s heartbreaking. He misses them. He cries when he looks at their pictures. … He was only 2 when it all happened, but he remembers, which breaks my heart. He cries when he sees other kids picked up by their parents at kindergarten. It’s tough to see a child going through that kind of pain. … Almog is a 3-year-old boy who just wants his dad.”
