Project Ezrah Looks to Pesach

As the sun sets on Purim and we hang on to those last precious moments, we all realize that we are about to embark on Pesach. That snap transition between the revelry of Purim and the planning for Pesach comes on quickly. This year there are additional stressors that will be coming along with Pesach planning. With inflation, the price of gas and supply chain problems, the cost of the holiday prep will be even greater.

Every year Project Ezrah significantly helps members of the community make Pesach, but this year we already see that the need is more abundant than in previous years. To help reach more people who are in need of additional support, Project Ezrah will be opening a grant application for anyone who needs financial assistance to make Pesach. These grants are meant to help relieve a bit of the stress of the holiday and help families get what they need for Yom Tov. It will also allow us to help members of our community access other resources that they may not know about.

If you would like to apply for our Pesach grant please go to our website, Ezrah.org, to fill out the application. Grants will be given on a rolling basis with April 7 being the last day we will be accepting applications. If you are interested in donating to this initiative please go to Ezrah.org and click on the “Maot Chittim” banner.
