Project S.A.R.A.H. recognized and honored Esther East and Rabbi Michael East, Rabbi Chaim and Dr. Shoshana Poupko and Lois Kaish. The breakfast participants were able to cook their own tasty Shakshuka dish along with Chef Shalom Yehudiel from the Humble Toast and La Cucina Di Nava. Participants heard about the early days of Project S.A.R.A.H. and how it developed into the vital organization it is today. The guest speaker, Pam Jacobs, director of the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence, addressed the current trends and needs survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Attendees also had the privilege of hearing words of encouragement from New Jersey’s State Senator Loretta Weinberg.
