Passaic—Dr. Evan and Yael Kroll, active members of the Passaic community, will be the recipients of PTACH’s coveted Professional Leadership Award at its Annual Scholarship Dinner. A mesumach of Yeshiva University, Evan was a rebbe at the PTACH program at Yeshiva University High School for Boys in 1997. After receiving his Ph.D. in psychology, Evan returned to PTACH as the in-house psychologist for the program and maintains a full time private practice for therapy and testing in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Teaneck and is always available to offer PTACH insights and advice.
His wife, Yael, is a CPA and financial planner for the accounting firm, Berger and Company, PA. She is an active participant in many of Passaic’s chesed organizations and is a board member of “Count-Me-In,” a community program to help mainstream children with developmental disabilities.
The dinner will be held on Sunday March 23, 2014, at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan. PTACH will be celebrating over 37 years at the forefront of special education. PTACH’s mission is to provide the best Jewish and secular education to children who have been disenfranchised because of learning difficulties.
