In honor of Yom Yerushalayim RYNJ middle school students had the great privilege of hearing from Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter. Rabbi Schacter dramatically shared the inspiring story of the capture of the old city and the miracles of the Six-Day War. He told the students about his trip to the Kotel 10 days after the war and his visit with Rav Aryeh Levin in his small apartment outside of Machane Yehuda. It was super special because Rabbi Schacter had two of his grandchildren in the audience. RYNJ thanks Rabbi Schacter for his special visit.
