Ma’ayanot’s 12th grade Gemara class was honored to host Rabbi Haim Jachter this past week. The class had recently completed a sugya in Makkot that deals with the laws of mikvot and asked Rabbi Jachter to share his profound knowledge and insight on this topic. Rabbi Jachter spent time with our students explaining the intricate halachot detailing how a modern-day mikveh is constructed and maintained. This was a unique opportunity for our seniors to hear firsthand how we can apply and connect our ancient traditions to modern-day mitzvot and halachot.
