Rabbi Menachem Genack to Speak at the Jewish Center of Teaneck

On Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Jewish Center of Teaneck, 70 Sterling Place, Rabbi Menachem Genack will speak about his book, Letters to President Clinton: Biblical Lessons on Faith and Leadership, before members of the Yeshiva Heichal HaTorah and Jewish Center communities. His talk will begin after the brunch following morning services which takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Throughout President Clinton’s presidency and beyond, over a period of 20 years, Rabbi Genack sent him many words of Torah on timely issues. President Clinton, in turn, often sent back handwritten comments. This book, which was a finalist for the Jewish Book Council prize, is both a documentation of their correspondence and a primer for the way Torah values and insights can be infused into general society.

Rabbi Menachem Genack is the rabbi of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Englewood and the Chief Executive Officer of the OU kosher supervision service.

This event is free. The community is welcome to attend services, the brunch and Rabbi Genack’s talk.

For further information call the Center at (201) 833-0515, ext. 200.
