Upon the advice of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to celebrate a birthday with joy and friends, and to make new resolutions in adding in Torah and mitzvot, Rabbi Kanelsky celebrated his birthday on Zoom with family, friends and community members. Many of the people who joined shared their history and the personal impact Bris Avrohom had on them, thanks to the Kanelskys. On the first night of Rabbi Kanelsky’s birthday celebration, many friends and supporters of the Russian Jewish community joined. The second night was accompanied by shul members and the community.
