(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Upon the advice of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to celebrate a birthday with joy and friends, and to make new resolutions in adding in Torah and mitzvot, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky celebrated his recent birthday with family, friends, community members and supporters of the Russian Jewish community. Many of the people who attended shared their history and the personal impact that Bris Avrohom has had on their lives, thanks to the Kanelskys.

Rabbi Kanelsky shared inspirational words of Torah and chassidut. He suggested to all those present to join Bris Avrohom’s newly launched mezuzah campaign, which aims to provide 7,700 mezuzahs to 1,800 Jewish families, and shared how the Lubavitcher Rebbe imparted that a mezuzah protects every single Jew.
