Yavneh Academy’s 3rd grade students were treated to a special program called “Wonders of the Rain Forest” as a kick off to their Rain Forest unit of study. The children delighted in getting up close to some amazing animals like Darby the Macaw who actually spoke to them! Several brave volunteers—students and teachers alike—actually held the boa constrictor and wore a tarantula on their heads! All this happened as Rick from Wonders of the World filled the children in on the different animals and their habitats and needs.
