Students across all divisions at Ramaz were excited to celebrate a milestone birthday for Israel—75 years! While ECC students explored a Ramaz version of the “Dead Sea” and worked at Kibbutz Ramaz, lower school children made hummus in “Tel Aviv” and learned famous Israeli folk dances. Middle and upper school students celebrated with chaggigot, a talent show and a gathering at their moadon (clubhouse) … and of course, all divisions came together for the Ramaz-PC annual block party outside on 78th Street! Upper School students also spent the morning of Yom Ha’atzmaut dancing in the street with Israeli flags and a lot of ruach.
