Chanukah cheer filled 85th Street before students left for winter break. Ramaz lower school and ECC students enjoyed a full day of immersive fun! They started by creating decorations for their classrooms to get into a festive mood and then rotated around the building for different activities. Highlights included baking and decorating delicious Chanukah cookies, reading Chanukah stories with their classmates, and practicing Chanukah songs and dances for a karaoke competition. Teachers also led students in a competitive game of Bingo where winners received fabulous Ramaz swag. In P.E. students competed in a menorah-themed relay challenge. The celebrations peaked at glow-in-the-dark dancing with DJ Bubbles. Chanukah at Ramaz was truly lit!
