Ramaz seniors took an incredible trip to Poland and Israel. They explored sites of Poland’s vibrant pre-war Jewish history, including towns and synagogues from the Renaissance and Enlightenment. The students also toured important locations from the Shoah, including death camps, ghettos, and Schindler’s factory. After six powerful days in Poland, the students departed for Israel. With the dirt of Auschwitz still on their shoes, they felt an even deeper appreciation for the Jewish homeland as they visited wounded chayalim, danced at the Kotel, planted trees in Kibbutz Gonen, and more. It was a truly inspiring journey from which the students emerged feeling moved, inspired, and changed.
