Ramaz is immensely proud of its sophomores, who have finished the book of Yirmiyahu as a part of their Nakh Yomi project. Since their freshman year, they have learned a perek of Nakh a day, completing Yehoshua, Shoftim, Shmuel, Melachim, Yishayahu, and now, Yirmiyahu. As a grade, they’ve now learned 265 chapters of Nakh as they make tremendous progress towards learning all of Nakh by their high school graduation. They celebrated with a bagel breakfast and words of Torah by the sophomore students who have advanced to the National Chidon HaTanakh competition. They recited “hadran alach Sefer Yirmiyahu,” “we will return to you Book of Jeremiah,” reminding everyone that learning is lifelong and never finished.
