Dr. Ellen Ronnen, board-certified hematologist/oncologist, will discuss “Advances in Breast Cancer: New Developments in 2017” on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the HPCT-CAE, located at 201 S 3rd Ave, Highland Park.

Topics discussed will include what puts someone at risk for breast cancer, how treatment options have changed in 2017, whether there are better remedies for treatment-related symptoms than years ago and whether lifestyle changes can help prevent recurrence after someone has been treated for breast cancer. These and other questions asked by attendees will be answered during the talk.
