Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School hosted two challah bakes in October. First, the RASPEDS Parent Association hosted a community challah bake for more than 100 parents, faculty, friends and students in grades 6-8. The event was led by parent Rachel Kraus and faculty member Sarit Yahalomi.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade baked challot together on Friday, October 29, concluding a month-long school-wide focus on Shabbat that included various unity of study, art projects and activities tied to Shabbat traditions.
