Rav Meir Goldwicht, a prominent Israeli scholar, educator, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva University’s Mazer School of Talmudic Studies and the head of the Stone Beit Medrash Program, will resume his weekly parshat hashavua shiur on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Rav Goldwicht prepares extensive source sheets each week and then walks his class through the weekly Torah portion, sharing his insights and connecting them to other parts of Tanach. When a holiday is approaching, he shifts the focus of the class to issues concerning the upcoming holiday. The shiur is given in an easy-to-understand Hebrew at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at Cong. Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck. Men and women are welcome to attend.
