Harav Shmuel Kamenetsky, shlita, will be speaking in Passaic, on Sunday evening, May 7, at Agudas Bircas Yaakov, 262 Terhune Ave., to give chizuk to the community and to promote the important work of Lev Modiin and Lev Echad, organizations founded and directed by Rabbi Elazar Grunberger in Israel.
His talk, titled “The Power of Achdus: Counting Up to Sinai,” will share illuminating insights in preparation for Shavuos and the key to a successful celebration of Matan Torah.
Lev Modiin was established in 2012 a year after Rabbi Grunberger and his family made aliyah from St. Louis, Missouri, with the mission of creating an outreach and beis medrash program along with a kehilla in the predominantly secular city of Modiin. Lev Echad was recently established as the umbrella organization of the Lev outreach network to replicate the model and attract Israelis to core values of life through Torah learning.
The lecture is free and open to the entire community. Doors open at 8:15; program begins at 8:30 p.m.
