Last week, the talmidim in Y17 and Y18 were zocheh to hear a shiur from Rav Yonasan Sacks. Rav Sacks is currently the Rosh HaYeshiva of Lander College for Men and is the rebbe of TABC’s Head of School, Rabbi Yablok. Rabbi Yablok fondly recalled his time at Yeshiva University where he had the privilege of hearing Rav Sacks’ shiurim for a number of years. Rav Sacks’ shiur addressed some key themes in the opening sugyot of pesachim, the masechta that TABC yeshiva is learning this year. The talmidim were quite impressed by Rav Sacks’ erudition, clarity and command of mekorot.
