Approved Funding, a leading privately-held local mortgage banker continues its “Educational Seminars and Workshop” series for 2019. After completing a highly successful Real Estate & Investment Workshop in July, the company is pleased to announce two additional opportunities for real estate education and training.

“Approved Funding prides itself on being more than just a local mortgage provider,” says Shmuel Shayowitz, President of Approved. “We distinguish ourselves with the ‘value’ that we can offer our clients and business partners, that goes well beyond just being able to offer low rates and costs.” “The overwhelming nature of a mortgage, and the burdens that buying or owning a home demands requires information, education, resources and expertise that we work diligently to provide,” concludes Shayowitz.

In this regard, the company has launched an extensive calendar of informative seminars and workshops helping everyone from beginner first time home buyers, to savvy and experienced real estate owners and investors who want to know the tricks of the trade. These seminars will be held throughout the North Jersey area in tandem with local municipalities, associations, and chambers of commerce.

In East Orange NJ, Approved Funding is proud to participate in an upcoming First Time Homebuyers Workshop, in a series of workshops held by the Dept. of Neighborhood Housing & Revitalization. The monthly educational workshops are endorsed by East Orange Mayor, Ted R. Green and are held at the City Council Chambers in City Hall Plaza. In addition to the learning component, the program offers up to $25,000 in grants towards down payments and closing costs for eligible applicants and home buyers. Separately, in a very unique and exciting offering, with the Paramus Community School Adult Continuing Education department, Approved Funding presents a series of in-depth workshops covering the entire home buying, homeownership and mortgage process, presented by Sholom Silvestri. Silvestri is an accredited Licensed Mortgage Banker, an experienced real estate investor and now a certified instructor through the Paramus Community School.

Silvestri of Approved Funding will lead sessions in September and November, which will consist of two evening classes that cover must-know information for First-Time Home Buyers as they enter their home purchase journey.
