Relaunch of Adamah Adventure Camp at Pearlstone

(Courtesy of Adamah Adventure Camp) Adventure awaits! Adamah, whose headquarters are located at Pearlstone in Reisterstown, Maryland has announced a relaunch of Pearlstone’s day and overnight camp. The camp, formerly known as Tiyul, is now Adamah Adventure Camp, with more choice, more camp spirit and more adventure.

Adamah’s camps are 100% unplugged and kosher. Explore 180-plus acres of farm and forest, 20 minutes outside of Baltimore. Take care of the chickens and sheep, stay cool in the three pools and splash pad, play in the creek, practice fire and shelter-building, identify wild edible plants, tend and harvest in the educational garden, try the three-story high ropes course, zipline across the lake, and become protectors of the earth with Jewish wisdom as a guide.

Adamah Adventure Camp offers two overnight camp options:

  1. Advanced Skills is Sunday, July 7 through Sunday, July 14, 2024, for incoming eighth- to 12th-graders passionate about making things by hand and learning about the land. Make your own bow, arrow and quiver or knife and backpack set, or do a wilderness survival deep dive. Camp out in a tent village and tell stories around the fire. Previous woodworking or blacksmithing experience is not necessary. For adventurous teens!
  2. Nature Exploration is Sunday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 14, 2024, for incoming fourth- to ninth-graders, and features a traditional overnight camp experience. Spend 10 days alongside amazing specialists, with magical evening activities like a sunset blueberry harvest, blindfold string walk and shofar stalk. Spirited Shabbat by the lake. Meet your camper on pick-up day and stay for Family Farm Camp from August 14-18. Learn more at adamah.org/familyfarmcamp.

Adamah also has a day camp for those local to Baltimore. The summer adventure for rising first- to eighth-graders features theme weeks, “Choose Your Own Adventure” electives, Shabbat Party, and the signature “Break Down Breakdown” compost smash. Sustainable, organic fun!

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Bus from Pikesville.

Theme Weeks: Jedi, Fire, Archery, Barnyard Bash, Pirate Water World, Alien Invasion, Survivor
