Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

This past week my husband, Phil, and his brother Larry, sat shiva for their brother, Murray. Murray contracted polio at the young age of 8 years old and had numerous medical challenges, but that did not deter him from having a successful accounting career and an outstanding, accomplished family. His late wife, Barbara, was an exemplary sister in law. Phil, Larry and Murray’s children, Neil and Wendy, all sat shiva at Larry’s home.

Four years ago Larry’s wife, Linda, went to olam haemes. Larry’s wife was the perfect aunt and great aunt to our children and grandchildren—and an outstanding sister in law to us. She was a true aishes chayil and tzadekes. While the family sat shiva for Murray there were memories of Linda as well.

Murray would always daven with kavana daily, and Linda was in shul always following the Torah derech. Larry is the most devoted, dedicated brother in law to me and brother to Phil.

The West Orange kehillah (Larry Rein) took care of every detail, as did Rav Chaim Marcus and the Springfield kehillah.

Family is everything. While we daven for the release of the hostages we also daven for Murray (Moshe Avraham) and Linda (Chana) that their neshamot should have aliyot.

They were both extraordinary family members and we miss them terribly.
