U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09), Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade, recently met with members of the North Jersey Jewish Business Alliance to discuss a variety of topics, including U.S. trade relations and the impact of Trump administration policies on New Jersey businesses, among other issues. U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ-05) was also in attendance.
“I want to thank the members of the North Jersey Jewish Business Alliance for a productive meeting yesterday,” said Rep. Pascrell. “I was pleased to hear from representatives of a variety of New Jersey businesses, including Investors Bank, which has a location in Clifton. We discussed international trade and the value of maintaining positive relationships with our trade partners to the economy of New Jersey. Alliance members had interesting insights into how we can foster development and job growth in northern New Jersey and I look forward to working with them moving forward.”
The meeting with Rep. Pascrell was part of the North Jersey Jewish Business Alliance’s Mission to D.C. in which they met with leaders and elected officials to voice the concerns of their employees and colleagues. Attendees included Royal Wine Corp., Berger Organization and the Jewish Builders Association, among others.
