Restaurant Owner’s Son Volunteers His Time as Outdoor Dining Resumes

A local kosher restaurant in Teaneck, in keeping with COVID-19 safety guidelines, is offering socially distanced outdoor dining where servers wear masks at all times. Captured on July 20th is a photo of the restaurant owner’s 10-year-old son serving a delicious steak tartare appetizer. The parents described their son’s enthusiasm to volunteer his time this summer and provide customers with a great dining experience. The Jewish community, they said, has been very supportive of the restaurant’s efforts to adjust to COVID-19 safety measures, with its recent reopening of in-person dining. (Credit: Ilya Welfeld)
