After 35 years servicing the Jewish community in Riverdale, Rabbi Yisroel Wilhelm has moved his Riverdale Judaica store about five minutes north to 5691 Riverdale Avenue, in North Riverdale. Immediately next to Carlos and Gabby, the kosher Mexican restaurant, Riverdale Judaica now offers expanded free parking, adjacent to the kosher Dunkin’ Donuts, Riverdale’s Kosher Market, Gruenbaum’s breakfast and lunch, and Key Food supermarket, among other attractions.
Rabbi Wilhelm noted that Judah Schorr affixed the mezuzah to the door of Riverdale Judaica’s new location.
