Congregation Beth Aharon, Riverdale’s Sephardic Orthodox Congregation, welcomed more than 100 people at a party for the lighting of the chanukiah on the seventh night of Chanukah, with a variety of pizza, Israeli-style food, salads, hot latkes and beautiful and delicious sufganiyot. Eitan Binstock, a Ramaz High School student, spun music all night, as both children and adults spun dreidels.
Winners of the 20-question trivia contest received raffle prizes including electronics, jewelry, fine dining, personal care, a pizza maker and a 65-inch television, which required the assistance of several people to carry it home.
Congregation Beth Aharon meets at the Riverdale Bayit at HIR. All are welcome.
