RKYHS art students in the four year art track visited the Grounds for Sculpture to appreciate art and be introduced to new forms of media. Several of the students have been studying the style of Seward Johnson and they were able to recognize his pieces from afar and appreciate his works in person. A scavenger hunt increased the students’ engagement with the art. The Grounds for Sculpture is a collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures and indoor galleries that makes art accessible in an informal setting.
