The RKYHS boys Torah Bowl team competed in the league championship after completing their undefeated regular season division win. In a very close contest that featured the RKYHS team leading much of the time, amazing mastery of the material and many highly contested questions, the boys came in second place on one single tie-breaker question. RKYHS is so proud of all of their enthusiasm, spirit and incredible amount of learning.

After much debate about the final outcome, the Torah Bowl commissioner wrote to the RKYHS boys “I am happy to see that your midos are as exemplary as your Torah knowledge…. I tip my hat to the Kushner team for the outstanding effort they made studying Chumash and Rashi to a level of proficiency expected of a championship team.”

RKYHS is so proud of the team’s character and accomplishments and look forward to many more great things from them in the future.
