With over 15,000 National Merit semifinalists announced last September from the original entries of 1.6 million students, the RKYHS community congratulates senior Gila Klibanoff for her outstanding achievement as a National Merit Finalist. To be considered for this award, selectors look at a candidate’s abilities, skills and accomplishments during their time in high school from academic records and test scores to written recommendations and leadership opportunities.
