The RKYHS 12th graders Ivrit classes got together with the third graders to collaborate on a shared lesson on what they learned about the cycle of the seed and compared it to recycling here on Earth. The seniors explained what to do with their leftover fruits and vegetables rather than throwing them away. They made compost and showed how you can use this to save the earth and help the seeds grow. The younger children used their Hebrew knowledge to read aloud, watch a video and play a game together with the older students to further their knowledge on these inter-connected topics while strengthening their Ivrit skills.
