Yom Ha’atzmaut is always a day of fun and celebration at RKYHS. This year, the school held its first ever Kushner Cup, instead of the usual Color War. Whereas in the past the teams were mixed throughout the grades, this year each of the four high school grades was its own team. All teams participated in sports events, academic challenges and even a boys’ dance competition. Despite hard fought battles by each grade, the seniors emerged victorious and took home the Kushner Cup.
