RKYHS sophomores participated in a three-day Israel Studies Seminar, jointly run by Bnei Akiva and the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, and held at Camp Moshava in Honesdale, PA. The students learned about Zionism and Religious Zionism from Israeli educators and Bnei Akiva shlichim. In small discussion groups and through meaningful activities, students explored the many dimensions of modern Israel, including its conflicts and challenges. Camp Moshava’s setting created the atmosphere for authentic learning while students enjoyed an exciting social and educational retreat. Learning was interactive, informal and engaging. This retreat was a seminal experience for RKYHS students.
