The RKYHS Sports Management Club heard from Ryan Barbon, associate marketing director at Gatorade. Barbon spoke to the RKYHS students about career opportunities of combining sports and marketing as well as sports science. He went into detail as to the various products the Gatorade company produces and its impact on the sports industry as a whole. He also gave the students important career advice as they think about entering the sports management industry. Throughout the year, the Sports Management Club at RKYHS is exposed to a wide variety of aspects of the sports industry, providing the students with an introduction to the varied opportunities for working in the sports industry.
