Members of the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School Law, Economics, and Politics (LEP) class, as well as members of the debate team, went to Governor Christie’s Town Hall meeting held in East Hanover. The Governor spoke about issues of state importance. He then took questions from the audience, including several from RKYHS students.
The LEP class focuses on, among other things, contemporary politics, decision making, and campaigning. Various members of the RKYHS debate team plan to tackle the issue of minimum wage at future debates, a topic they discussed with Governor Christie.
