RKYHS grades at each end of their high school experience gathered for programs with their fellow classmates. Freshmen, who post holidays are well into the new routine and rhythms of high school, continue to have opportunities to get to know their classmates and faculty. A third of the freshman class at RKYHS joined the grade from outside schools, in addition to the students that advanced from JKHA middle school, and the students continue to bond. New students to the RKYHS family hail from towns and areas including Bergenfield, Highland Park, Teaneck, Wayne and Staten Island.
The freshmen participated in a program that began with breakfast followed by games and human bingo that required each student to learn more about a fellow classmate. There was also time built in for students to hang out with one another informally outside of the classroom.
RKYHS seniors are maximizing their time together in their last year at RKYHS. The grade had a chance to have a special program and show their senior spirit. Dressed in school swag, they played trivia games with questions about their classmates, enjoyed a photobooth and other activities followed by lunch.
