The RKYHS Judaic studies elective program allows students to explore areas of Torah learning of their own personal interest. This week, the class entitled “Torah, Science, and Modern Medicine” began an exploration of the relationship between Torah and science using a new, comprehensive seven module curricular program designed by Professor Natan Aviezer of Bar Ilan University. RKYHS joined a small number of Yeshiva High Schools in piloting the program this year, allowing students exposure to the thought of a world renowned scientist and author as he guides students through discussions of creation, evolution, and the nature of life itself.
